FV pro version

Hello,

Has fv pro a correct version inside?

Testcase:

1. Install 7.4.45.727.beta. The version is correct and visible at plugins page
2. Reinstall the plugin via zip file uploading. The page shows 7.4.44.727.beta for both current and uploaded plugin.

yes, the latest FV player Pro version is 7.4.45.727.

Where did you get the zip you installed the 44 version from?

Please, also go to Plugins -> Installed plugins and see whether you get a “new version available” message under FV Player Pro.

Hello Edward,

latest FV Player Pro version is 7.4.44.727. But you get 7.4.45.727.beta if you have switched to the Beta release.

However if the plugin is deactivated, it will show the 7.4.44.727 plugin version number on that wp-admin -> Plugins screen.

Hello Martin,

I think I missed the point.
Both fv & fv pro plugins show the latest version 7.4.45.727. They are active.

Hello Edward,

it’s the same issue as when the FV Player Pro plugin is not active – it doesn’t know that the plugin folder effectively contains two plugin versions. We do it like that to let the users switch from Release to Beta back and forth easily.
