fv player hijacks the masthead settings of my theme

with win 10 and chrome browser and Advantage theme, the masthead settings are are changed by the fv player that will not work with text or any settings other than tab, I just want to use this player with any of its settings since I bought pro and do not want to spend more to make it work..tel me what to do to get my them working with the tab settings

I installed the Advantage theme from https://wordpress.org/themes/advantage/

At a glance I’m not seeing any issue. Where can I find the masthead settings and what steps do I need to take to reproduce the issue?
