Our client just discoverd that every video they upload to the WordPress media library is also added as a new player under FV Player videos/playlists. Is that intended? Because our client uses the FV Player only for specific videos and don’t want every video to be a FV Player video.
A bigger problem, however, is that it appears that videos inserted using the standard WP Video Block are automatically replaced by the FV Player, even though the setting “Handle WordPress audio/video” is not activated.
And even after upgrading to version 8.1.2, the problem still exists.

Please check wp-admin -> FV Player -> Settings -> Integrations/Compatibility -> “Disable database conversion”.
The “Handle WordPress audio/video” setting only works when displaying the video, so it does not change the shortcodes in database.
I wonder if this shouldn’t be a single setting like “What to do about standard WordPress video/audio/playlist shortcodes, Gutenberg Video block and YouTube links” with radio buttons:
- Convert to FV Player
- Only display with FV Player
- Leave unchanged
That way it’s just one setting instead of two and it’s clear what’s going to happen. We could certainly come up with a better label.

Merging these two options into one setting might indeed be a good idea to clarify things.
