we are using your “PRO version” plugin with the famous Newspaper theme.
Using the visual composer bundle with theme, we are getting a javascript error (only if your plugin is activated), trying to use a modal visual editor.Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘activeEditor’ of undefined
var editor = window.tinymce.activeEditor;Do you have any workaround?

I tested with WPBakery Visual Composer 5.0.1 and I didn’t run into any issues. I only noticed that the FV Player editor button doesn’t work in the Frontend editor (it that the modal editor which you mentioned?), but it worked just fine in the Backend editor.
I also tried version 5.5.6, which is now called WPBakery Page Builder. It worked too.
Also, FV Player doesn’t contain the “var editor = window.tinymce.activeEditor” code. We use activeEditor property of tinymce, but we don’t change it in any way.

thank for reply.
As I wrote in my first post I run the “visual composer bundled with Newspaper theme”, it is not WPBakery Page Builder, but it is called TDComposer.
It is working fine (even if Visual Composer are evil) but it is not working with your plugin activated (just for one of its component, which expose tinymce editor).

the first Newsletter theme which I found was https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 and on that one they mention Visual Composer, so I was assuming that’s it.
So I guess you are using the Newsletter 8 theme by tagDiv which uses the tagDiv Composer.
Since it’s a paid theme I can’t quickly evaluate how hard it would be to fix the issue here. We will talk about the issue on our team meeting.

we are happy to check the issue hands on, just order our pro support. That way we can check the issue right on your website. We should be able to fix it and in worst case recommend a way of fixing it to tagDiv if the issue is outside of FV Player code.
I’m also leaving for a long weekend tomorrow, so I will be able to work on this only on Monday.
