Hi FV team!
We are about to launch a digital album shop on our Harp-School.com platform this fall. Since I already have FV player running -and since I’m very happy with it, I was thinking about using it for audio only purposes on my album products -for customers to preview albums. Therefore with the playlist function.
Here are some glitches I’ve notice when using FV player for audio playback:
– the logo (when set in Fv player pro options) is displayed over the player bar, on the left, disturbing the use of the player controls.
– When the speed buttons feature is enabled, the speed buttons are also showing up on top tof the player bar…
(side note: the speed buttons are also displayed over subtitles on videos! I had to disable them because of this, really annoying :-p since the speed buttons were a great useful function for our eLearning videos).Feature request:
– Adding Prev/next buttons (maybe as an option that could be enabled FV player settings) for audio player with playlist. To me this is a must have when using an audio player with multiple tracks.
– an option to disable the “NOW PLAYING” blinking overlay on played tracks on playlist. To me it stands out too much, making it more prominent than the player controls or the rest of the page..
– How do I add private info or a screenshot in here? I keep forgetting :-p Would be nice to have a little checkbox for private message and an image upload function, this way I don’t have to wait for you reply to send a complete support request with IDs and screenshots..Thanks for your help and for considering the requests! Will send access to my staging site with examples when you let me know how.

FV Player 7 (currently in Beta) moves the speed control into control bar, so that issue is solved: https://foliovision.com/player/demos/playback-speed But I will check how that appears on the audio player.
We will get he logo issue fixed, talk about the prev/next buttons (currently these are available in overlay as one of the playlist styles, but that only makes sense on a video playlist) and the “Now Playing” text.
It’s true that the attachments can’t be posted when creating a thread, we will check that out too.

About the prev/next buttons, would you consider having those in control bar for audio players with playlist? At least the next button :-?
And about the “now playing” blinking overlay in playlist, I’m not sure I understood your answer. An option to disable it in setting would be nice! Thanks for considering these.
There is so many audio players for wordpress that are so bad, really! That I think by improving your audio version of FV player (such as adding prev/next controls etc) you could get people finding/installing your player for audio only.Thank you so much!!

Are you using FV Player 7 already? If so, why skin are you using?
I talked with Alec about adding the prev/next buttons for the audio playlists. We would do it just like YouTube – they have a “previous item” button to the left of the play icon and a “next item” button to the right of the play icon. And these buttons would be there all the time, as long as there is playlist. I think it would make the most sense when using the Youtuby skin though.

Thanks for considering all my requests! I just moved to v7 and love it! I use default skin as it is the most trendy looking to me, good job guys!
Prev/Next buttons on playlist: Awesome! Can it be an option to activate somewhere around default skin settings too (not just on youtube skin)? I really love the default skin for videos etc. and would be sad if I have to use youtube skin just to get prev/next controls on my audio players.. lmk!
