With the ‘Rewrite Title’ option the title tag of various types of content can be changed. However, you cannot set the title of the HOME page individually.
It would be cool, if one could define separate title formats for HOME page and the other, normal pages.

Where can this option be found? There is no such setting in the FV Simpler SEO configuration. Even though, on the following site is says “Custom title for frontpage and each post – used even if title rewrite if off.” for FV Simpler SEO:

But when I tick the “Rewrite Titles” option, there is no such field for front page or home page!?

The home page title and home page description are the first items at the top of FV Simpler SEO preferences: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=fv_simpler_seo

All right, cool! Thought that option was only setting the meta title.
So if ‘Rewrite Titles’ is enabled, the titles will be rewritten to either the title that is set in FV Simpler SEO title field for that specific page OR it is set to the title format that is defined below ‘Rewrite Titles’, if NO specific title is set per page.
Is that correct? Got it, now I understand. Thanks mate.
