VAST overlay ads issue in Safari

Hi,
this Overlay Ad:
https://www.continentseven.com/flaka-chris-sammer/
Works very well on Firefox and Chrome (OS X), but with Safari the Overlay Image appears for a short blink and then disappears. Perhaps something with CSS Layers?

Hi Florian!

Thank you for the report. I tested the video in Safari 9.1 and OS 10.11 and everything is in order with overlay ad – no blinking or disappearing. Can you send us the version of OS/Safari you noticed it?

Safari 11.0.3 and OS X 10.13.3.
Do you need something like a video of the blinking?

Hello Florian,

so the actual overlay ad only appears for a very short period of time?

I’m not noticing any issue on Safari 11.0.3 (12604.5.6.1.1) on OS X 10.12.6. No issues on Safari 11.1 on OS X 10.13.4 either.

Could you please enable Debug in Settings -> FV Player VAST, then open your page and the development console, reload the page and let us know what appeared on the console?
