Repubblika ta’ Malta or simply Malta is a densely-inhabited little country in the Mediterranean Sea, world-wide known as a dream destination for those picky tourists who look for beaches and history in one place.
The republic consists of a couple of islands of which only three of them are inhabited - Malta, Gozo, Comino.
Malta is known for having some of the best beaches in the Mediterranean, with some of the cleanest bathing waters in the EU. A few of them are also Blue Flag certified which means they adhere to standards of sustainable development. Here are some useful tips : The Blue Lagoon, Ghajn Tuffieha, Golden Bay, Ghadira, Paradise Bay.
If you feel like staying dry then definitely visit La Valleta, the elegant capital of Malta, the idylic island of Gozo, or The Blue Grotto.
This short travel video guides us through rocky streets of Malta and its beautiful and unique nature. Lost in Malta, shot by Tumur Tugalev, belongs to a series created by Sara Izzi on her travel and lifestyle blog called The Lost Avocado.
