Sorry, it seems like discovered the solution. If the WordPress page is https, and the subtitle files are attached using http, the browser could block the http web vtt file due to mixed file error. So to solve this, we need to manually change the subtitle file to https … hope this helps!

I have the same problem with the free FV Player version, the subtitles are not displaying, is it possible to look into what is the issue?
