Subtitles, Chapters, Transcript on WP 4.9.6

Hello
On free version subtitle switcher on the right bottom corner is showing but captions are not loading. Same with Pro Transcript feature like transcript (and chapters) “Error loading transcript. Please try again in a minute.”

There is no such issue with older WordPress versions.

PHP 7.0
FVPlayer 6.6.2
Chrome Latest
WP 4.9.6

Hi Clod!

I tested on a WP 4.9.6 and in the latest Chrome and could not replicate the issue. Can you send us the link to the video with subtitles/transcript?

I have the same problem with the free FV Player version, the subtitles are not displaying, is it possible to look into what is the issue?

Sorry, it seems like discovered the solution. If the WordPress page is https, and the subtitle files are attached using http, the browser could block the http web vtt file due to mixed file error. So to solve this, we need to manually change the subtitle file to https … hope this helps!
