Thanks Guys for the update,
It’s true that most of the traffic of that site is coming from mobile devices BUT I had no idea that error can be caused by it.
Also, there may be only couple of pages where more than one Vimeo video are embedded using FV player.
So, does the current version pre-loads the Vimeo videos automatically?

Mobile support will be great as more & more users nowadays use mobile devices to surf internet and watch videos.

Rehan10 years ago in reply to: VPAID | Non-Linear adsYes, the non-linear ad is now working well with the video as both are playing fine on the demo page.
I just tumbled upon another point & found that linear VAST ads are not working on mobile devices, is this a bug?
10 years ago in reply to: VPAID | Non-Linear adsNon-linear ad is playing but not the video , here is a print-screen shot : http://prntscr.com/5amigv and I’m using Google Chrome v39 & IE v11.
Regarding the 15 sec error, it happens only when you load the webpage for the first time and that also in Chrome (probably some cache problem). It never happened in IE.
10 years ago in reply to: VPAID | Non-Linear adsHi Martin,
I’ve checked the non-linear ad there on your link but there also the ad at the bottom is working but video is not playing.
Coming to the ‘exceeds limit of 15 sec’ error, here is a screenshot of the console: http://prntscr.com/5adybr

Rehan10 years ago in reply to: VPAID | Non-Linear adsAh! Great Martin…..
Yes, that ima3vpaid.appspot.com is converting that VAST url tag to VPAID url tag which requires flash… This sums it up…
Thanks for helping out and explaining it well… :)) Here is final working example : http://donoftheworld.com/wp/?p=65
I noticed that it sometimes comes up with random errors, such as:
“Ad error: AdError 1009: The VAST response document is empty.”
“Exceeds limit of 15 sec…..”** As this problem has been solved… I want to talk on the license and pricing… can we do that via email?
10 years ago in reply to: VPAID | Non-Linear ads1) Why is it using VPAID SWF to run a non-linear ad? I don’t know because Google is generating it and want us to incorporate that ad tag in player to setup a working webpage as an example. All this is required just to get approved for showing VAST/VPAID ads on videos.
2a) So, that means non-linear VPAID ads which are flash-based aren’t supported by this player.
2b) I’ve also tried using ‘Liverail’ non-linear VAST ads which are html5-based and it seems like they are also not supported by this player. They are also showing up but not video isn’t playing. (2nd video on the following webpage is a live example of this problem – http://donoftheworld.com/wp/?p=44)
10 years ago in reply to: VPAID | Non-Linear adsThank you for the reply, Martin.
I think I’ve mistaken in-line linear for non-linear ad… I would like to share this screenshot for what Google wanted me to do: http://prntscr.com/58l7oi
That tag is automatically generating in-line linear ads and sometimes it generates the normal pre-roll (skip) ads….
10 years ago in reply to: Issues with SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam pluginHello FV Team,
I just found out that Akismet plugin is conflicting with latest FV Flowplayer plugin. It issues : “Admin JavaScript warning: I’m sorry, your JavaScript appears to be broken.”
This isn’t related to theme as I’ve tried many others.
Please fix this ASAP. Thanks.
10 years ago in reply to: Ads stopped workingI guess it has to do something with the theme my client is using. Something is conflicting. I’ve tried another theme and the player then works fine.
I’ve set up that theme named ‘Jarida’ on my testing site and the player doesn’t show ads on any smartphone if you browse the site in portrait view.
here is the link : http://rehan4testing.site90.com/wpvid/?p=86
The previous version of player used to display ads on mobile in portrait view…
Checked on almost all famous smartphones… Note 3, S5, iPhone 5s, Moto X, Nexus 5
Note: It works fine on tablets though…
10 years ago in reply to: Ads stopped workingHi Martin,
I’ve also noticed that ads don’t play on mobile devices. On going through the code using ‘inspect element’ tool of chrome, I found that it doesn’t add the ad-specific code i.e. <div id=”wpfp_….” class=”wpfp_custom_ad”>…</div>
This bug is in the developer version which you shared with us. I hope it’ll be fixed soon.
10 years ago in reply to: Ads stopped workingThanks Martin,
This update solved this problem. Now adSense code is working fine even if we add it using ‘FV’ icon in post. Superb!
Thanks Martin,
This .dev update solved this problem. Can I please know when this will be made public?
10 years ago in reply to: Ads stopped workingHello Team FV,
I’ve noticed one thing that adSense code added to the player via post panel to override the default ad doesn’t work. And the video starts giving this error:
`Warning: Division by zero in /home/test123/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/models/flowplayer-frontend.php on line 335`
And at the place of video :
Admin: Video Issues
).push({}); </script></html>’It can be added using default ‘FV WordPress Player’ page in the ‘Settings’ but can’t be changed on individual videos using ‘post’ panel (FV icon above toolbar) even though the option is there.
Hello Team FV,
I’ve noticed a small problem in the player with lower-resolution videos (360 & 240) which doesn’t qualify 16:9. When you click the video to play, the ‘splash’ image on top of the video doesn’t disappear, it remains there and can be seen on the right & left sides instead of black bars. Here is an example: http://rehan4testing.site90.com/wpvid/?p=86 It doesn’t occur in IE11 but occurs in GoogleChrome37. Can you please fix this or tell me any solution?
Hello Team FV,
Regarding my previous static-ad related problem, well it can be added using default ‘FV WordPress Player’ page in the ‘Settings’ but can’t be changed on individual videos using ‘post’ panel (FV icon above toolbar) even though the option is there.

Any idea, how can I solve this problem?
Hi Martin, I have purchased FV Flowplayer license, can you please update my profile so I can test the beta version for VAST/VPAID add-on.
Thanks for the information, Martin. Can you please explain if FV Player VAST is different than the FV WordPress Flowplayer (Plugin), if so, then what are its features?
Because I’m looking to buy the FV WordPress Flowplayer (Plugin). If VAST/VPAID ads can be integrated in it then yes I’m very much interested in it.
