That would be helpful. I didn’t see an easy way to overwrite the splash screen on Vimeo as a workaround in the meantime. So my process for now is, disable FV plugin, make my changes and save, then re-enable.
I’m using Vimeo. The splash screen is auto adding even after being deleted. I do not want to have to manually set every video to the custom screen we want to use.

Also I’m using Firefox 96.0.2 64-bit.
I’m using Rhythmo, however it doesn’t seem to be related to that. I disabled all the plugins EXCEPT for FV Pro and FV player and switched to the Twenty Twenty One theme and it still happens.
