Their list of default CORS list is… blank :)
Maybe you can add this to your guide on enabling subtitles in case someone else runs into it.
Thanks for the help.
Found it! Was a CORS error. Needed to add .vtt to the list.
Which is surprising because the VTT that holds the preview images on the same location was loading just fine.
Sure.
This subtitle file (https://mediacloud-tribe.b-cdn.net/2020/10/000_outro.vtt) doesn’t use tokens and works just fine in the play.
This file (https://coursevideos.b-cdn.net/cjme/outro/000_outro.vtt) does use tokens and doesn’t work.
Just to be clear I’m not sure if the tokens are the problem. But one location works and the other doesnt.
This is not about the preview images Martin. It’s about regular text subtitles :)

4 years ago in reply to: Timeline Previews setup? Thanks Martin. I can confirm it works using the thumbnails and vtt created through Videohop and hosted on bunnycdn.

This will help me decide what my next step needs to be :)
4 years ago in reply to: Timeline Previews setup?Hi Martin,
I’ve pointed the timeline preview option in FV Player to my .VTT file (created using Videohop) with that contains the information about the thumbnails but they don’t appear.
The VTT file is stored on my BunnyCDN account and uses token authentication.
What could be wrong?

4 years ago in reply to: Timeline Previews setup?Or should the thumbnails be created using a tool like https://www.videohop.com.au/thumbnail-generator ?
4 years ago in reply to: Timeline Previews setup? Thanks Chiara. I’ve seen that coconut.co has the option to create thumbnails alongside the various encoding options. Would the output of coconut.co work with the way FV Player interprets thumbnails?
4 years ago in reply to: Timeline Previews in FV Player ProI would love to know a bit more how the timeline previews work. Can I generate the thumbnails myself and upload them to my cloud storage?
