Hi Martin,
What I need is on mobile when the Video Player full screen button is pressed, it should automatically turn the orentation and have the player in fullscreen in landscape mode. It happens when you go to youtube and play a video and press the fullscreen button you should see what I mean.
Im not entirly sure how to use the link that you have send me.

Hi On your guide how to play videos Via HLS and Android with AWS WAF protection the exclusions if you add another User Agent exclusion simmilar to android but for CrKey then the videos play via chromecast.

Non of the videos exept for the Test Stream and Live stream HLS videos actually cast through to the Chromecast on the tv. Might be the permissions on the other videos preventing them from casting.
Is there an update for the video player that is on the HLS Stream Link ?
All those videos show the cast button! On all the videos.

The article you send was to do with seting up the cast like install it, you install it via Google Home app. Its been the easiest way to do it since I and millions of other people started using the cast. This has nothing to do with the Casting feature on Video players that use a Sender and Receiver.
Well, it still works on Youtube and countless other websites like dstv now. I have also tested my own links with bitmotiv (bitmovin) Player it works still on their v7 video player they are on v10 already. I have tested it with theOplayer it works still with that player. Im pretty sure it will work with JW Player also. I have tested it with a lot of things and the article you refer to is from 2018 meaning that if it completely killed it then there is no way any other player should work. So whether its inteded for desktop or not, Im using chromecast everyday of my life via mobile and desktop and it just works. Chomecast works with a receiver and a sender so I personally think what your giving is a bad excuse. As the player is doing the same on Mobile as it is doing on Desktop.
Creating a youtube playlist from the FV Player tab in the backend with a youtube playlist link adds an empty video in front causing the Shortcode not to work and gives an error in the frontend. using the link like this : [fvplayer src="https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsbb0w82yLDBkX4CQCrYijxfS5_Dm0JYp"]
Then it works normally, but going into the FV Player and creating shortcode from there does not work. This is bad because I can’t keep track of the shortcodes.
Ok So the constant fix for the Volume on Youtube videos starting Muted is disabling the Remember Video Position. When that is disabled then videos don’t start muted. I initially thought the problem was fixed with disabling the titles thing, but then I noticed that I had the problem again intermittedly and I noticed that when I play a video that is not remembered then it would have volume, disabling the Remember Video Position made the volume work again.
When can I expect and update on the Chromecast Problems? Im still struggling with the casting of this player. Its really reaching stage where my entire project is at a standstil. I don’t want to continue adding any content if this is not the player Im going to use.

Seems after doing all of this the Chromecast option is now gone, I don’t get the casting button any more HELPPPPPP!!!!
Ok I think i have found the solution and it seems to work fine with the domain, i found the guide on AWS WAF and it seems its working.
So the only other problem currently is the EU Paris option.

I think I will need to download and reupload youtube videos firstly I think its basically just as illigal as to remove the branding? but it is such a pain in the ass.
Also when I cast a HLS video no matter where you are in the video, it always starts from the start on the cast! I have tested this on other players also and it can keep the position where you start the casting, instead of starting from the begining. How do I fix this.
So I won’t be able to cast youtube videos?
But I can cast youtube embed videos ? Why would I then need your player for that ? It seems impossible to just find a player that can properly cast videos.Hi Lucia,

I can also confirm that when I have more than one player on one page,
The chromecast only loads on the last video, these are HLS video formats. Same thing applies I still need to Pull the screen down to have the Cast button appear, but it only works on the last video the first video does not show cast button at all. Also the screen pull does the same on mobile as well as on lightbox.Also here is links to 2 videos showing what happen with the Cast button on both HLS and Youtube, I named the videos accourding to the video type.

Youtube videos just never show the cast button nomatter what I do.
I have checked now on one HLS video, the cast button only appeared after playing the video for 22 min.

I only use Youtube and HLS,
On both I have really unreliable resaults with the cast feature, sometimes it shows sometimes it don’t at all. sometimes it will come up after you let the video play for a while. Its very weird and I don’t know how to get it to show everytime.
I also had it come up and when I connect it to the cast it starts the video on the tv and when you click anything on the player it play the audio on the phone as well as continue the video on the tv. and then I can’t stop it until I disconnect the cast, then the cast button is gone again.
I am a paid customer, why is my posts awaiting moderation for more than 48 hours ? I need help on this.
