First problem I want to use the Encryption of the media convert but in FV Player region’s there is no EU Paris, All my files etc is currently hosted in EU Paris everything is already setup there.
I have now spend hours tryting to get all these things working and after some long reads from many of your How to guides I have seen that I have enabled the Restrict Viewer Access and this caused my HLS videos not to work.
I now fixed this and fixed the Cors and crossdomain thing. Im just a little confused still as I want the hls video only to work from my site, these videos are not encrypted but I will encrypt future videos.
But accourding to me these videos should only be able to play from my domain ? But if I copy the cloudfront url to another website with a HLS video player it can play the video without any problem or restriction.
I have setup the access key ID and the private key in FV player > hosting > cloudfront (Pro), should this not be the factor to open the files and block others without the access key ?

Ok I think i have found the solution and it seems to work fine with the domain, i found the guide on AWS WAF and it seems its working.
So the only other problem currently is the EU Paris option.

Seems after doing all of this the Chromecast option is now gone, I don’t get the casting button any more HELPPPPPP!!!!

Hello Johan,
please note that in FV Player Chromecast is disabled for the encrypted HLS streams. We could make it work, but then the security of your encrypted videos would be much lower.
WAF is another thing that might break Chromecast for you – you would have to whitelist its user agent.

that would work. But it does decrease the video protection. We need to revise that WAF configuration instruction – perhaps we don’t have to whitelist Android if it plays the HLS stream with the HLS.js library.
The Android HLS playback is pretty buggy and it’s more reliable when using HLS.js actually. But the much older version don’t support it.
