Change the way the full screen button works on Mobile.

Is there some type of css fix for when a User press the full screen button on the website on Mobile, that the video automatically turns into landscape mode instead of trying to force the video to go fullscreen in portrait ?

Hello Johan,

browser screen orientation is a new technology, but it should work: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Screen/orientation

I remember I saw a player doing just what you suggested in fullscreen and it was on my Android 5.1.1 phone with latest Chrome.

Hi Martin,

What I need is on mobile when the Video Player full screen button is pressed, it should automatically turn the orentation and have the player in fullscreen in landscape mode. It happens when you go to youtube and play a video and press the fullscreen button you should see what I mean.

Im not entirly sure how to use the link that you have send me.

Hello Johan,

we have worked on this feature, it will be part of FV Player 7.4.0.727 which should be out tomorrow. Unfortunately the kind of API required for the screen orientation lock is not supported by iOS Safari, so it will only work for Android users.
