Hey there :-)
I’m sorry but there’s still one thing on my bucket list ^^
1) The alternative servers are checked after one another. Could you implement a (optional) round robin strategy so that the clients are evenly spread across the servers. It’ll be completely fine if the servers/sources probed randomly
Do you have any news for me?

Hi Martin,
thank you. I’ve tried it a little bit:
Test:
HLS stream: *.m3u8 AES encoded file.
server1: playing fine
server2: playing fineas soon as I stop the webserver on server 1 the video stops…. It takes almost 30 seconds for switching to the alternate
server. Could you improve that to 5 seconds or the time which is set in the plugin settings for skipping to next server.Thank you! Denny

Hi Martin,
1) thank you! the thing with the country detection came in my mind right after I issued the request here ? So great to hear!
2) It is a mp4 served over https byte-ranged requests with unreal media server. For testing I’ve stopped the server and the video stops too… but nothing further until I restart the server and the video continuous to play. I’ll send you a link to the served file by email.
Greetings, Denny
