Not sure why this is marked as resolved. I’m having the same issue. My homepage is a static page. When editing the page, the title and description fields show up. I can fill them in, but the plugin seems to use the fields in the “Basic options” instead.
Those fields do support usage of the qtranslate tags, but would much rather have the plugin pick up the fields from the static page.
