Our content is all hls hosted. If the option to disable video is selected and audio only play, is it possible for audio stream to continue without pausing when locking the mobile screen? As is typical with audio players?

Hello Ryan,
If you would like the video to play while the mobile is locked you first have to play the video and then lock the phone. Next unlock your phone again and resume the playback on the lock screen using the playback controls – which should the there. Then it continues playing even if the device is locked again.
Please let us know if there is a website which continues the playback even if the phone gets locked without having to take that extra step.
But I see that if it’s audio-only even that first initial device lock does not pause the playback.
The reason probably is that the video prevents the phone from locking itself.
I don’t think that just hiding the video will unlock that capability for videos.
