Wordpress 6.2 conflict with m3u8.

Hi Martin,

I think this might need another look. I have updated to the latest version 7.5.33 and the (hlsjs-lite: unsupported video message) error is still occurring on multiple sites with my m3u8 files.

I’ve tried disabling all other plugins etc and run tests on two sites, with the same result.

When downgrading to wordpress 6.1 the errors are resolved.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Mitchell,

Thank you for pointing out ongoing issues.

We’ve found that WordPress 6.2 utilizes a new way of sanitizing MySQL queries, which temporarily broke encrypted HLS playback.

FV Player Pro 7.5.34 is out and it will fix the issue. Please, update the plugin and let us know if fixed the issue for you.
