Certain paths to http m3u8 links fail. It seems to be with paths that have hyphens (-) or underscores (_) in them. Unfortunately I cannot change the paths. But all the other m3u8 hls streams play fine. And the streams are ok I can put them in other players or VLC of even in a kodi media center and they play without issue. I tried to replace the hyphens and underscores with url encode characters like %2F and got the same result.

could you please post some example of such URL? On our demo page https://foliovision.com/player/demos/hls-stream we have HLS stream https://d3kqo6411ge1e5.cloudfront.net/swen_lake_reloaded/index.m3u8 and it works well.

OK two URLs that work in kodi, VLC, windows but not in FV player are

it plays for me in browsers which support HLS natively – Safari on OS, iPad etc. In other browser it doesn’t play for me even if Flash is installed, as the access in http://veetle.com/crossdomain.xml is locked down to your domains only.
Please let us know what browser you are having issues with.

Looks like in Windows, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera all fail. I never use Internet Exploder/Edge browser so never thought to try it on there. It seemed to work with IE only. Is there a reason for this?

could you please post the URL where we can see the video? Does it match the domains entered in crossdomain.xml?
