The splash images on the following videos do not show unless the viewer is logged-in. They have “public” permissions (via Amazon s3) and there are no members on the website in question, other than admins.

I find it puzzling that the videos play, but the splash images don’t show.

Hello Andy,
It seems the bucket wsw-misc is configured in FV Player. So it adds the URL signature for these splash images. However they expire in 2 hours and your website is using page cache.
If all the files in that bucket are publicly available, it should not be in FV Player S3 settings. I see the videos play from that bucket too, but they do not require the URL signature either.
Please let us know if removing it from there will fix the issue. You can start by changing the bucket name to
wsw-misc-DISABLEDto make sure you can easily renamed it back if you find it’s needed somewhere.Thanks,

I understand what you say, but because there are no protective videos on the site in question, I created a staging version and deleted the bucket from FV Player Hosting.
That seems to have worked, so I intend to do the same on the live site.
I will back it up first – just in case!
