    1. On iOS, fullscreen is not working. Also, on Android in Chrome, when fullscreen, video is at the top position, not vertically centered.
    2. Everywhere, video is not responsive, black line shows up under the video (but it is a iframe background, as I understood).
    3. On Desktop, macOS and Windows, different browsers, videos sometimes don’t show up, can’t get which dependencies this plugin has.
    4. Back to #2, is it possible to state 16 by 9 ratio for the iframe by default? Fvplayer setting for default video width and height is not cool.

    Hi Alexander!

Can you please sent us a link to the video where we can see the problem? Or you send us report of the video via our built -in video checker. Here is how to do it: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/how-to-use-video-checker.

    Thanks,

    Lucia

    Hi Aleksandr!

I tested on my ipad 9.3.1 in Safari and Firefox and I can’t see the video at all. I also tested on mac 10.11.6 in Safari 9.1.2 and Firefox 59.0.2 and Chromium (v38) and the video worked without any further issues. Even full screen. On Android 8.0 in Chrome it again shows no video at all. On android 6.0 in Chrome it shows video and in full screen but it looks a bit disproportional ( #1 problem as you described). Where I could see video seeking worked no problem full screen or normal. I haven’t noticed any black lines. We haven’t noticed any youtube video issues. We’re looking into this problem further. Thanks!

    Hello Aleksandr,

we had a look and the fullscreen issue is caused by the fact that you are loading the player in an iframe. What is the reason for doing that? It’s probably cause of the issues Lucia was having – I’m seeing no issues on iPad with iOS 9.2 nor 11.2.

Anyway, you are also not using the latest FV Player version – please upgrade, as we improved the handling of the fullscreen functionality when the player is loaded in the iframe. It will use the iOS native video player, but at least it will work.

Going back to your original questions:

    1) I think I just answered that one.

    2) If you have to use iframe for the video, could you please at least use the FV Player iframe embed function? https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/using-iframe-embedding We can work on improving that one at least, although I’m not 100% sure, perhaps the iframe responsiveness has to be handled in the document which inserts the iframe.

    3) Could you please check the browser javascript console to see what error comes up when it happens? Here’s how: Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors

I tried to load the page multiple time, but the video always appeared.

    4) These are the resposnive dimensions, if you put in 1280×720 pixels, the videos will keep the 16:9 ratio. However if you use iframe, then it might get tricky.

    Thanks,
    Martin

Thank you, I think the issues are resolved. I’ll see if anything of mentioned problems will appear during users’ interaction with video.
