MP4 video is smaller than the player.

Hi Guys,

Just want to start with thank you for the support you have given us already. We have noticed that when uploading mp4s it shows smaller than the video player. FLVs work however I’m looking to get MP4s working.

Help on this would be great.

Hi Luke,

Could you try to turn off the DZS Video Gallery plugin and test it afterward? It seems that there is some kind of compatibility issue.

Hi Luke,

Now I see the video in what’s (probably) the correct format, but it’s only a YouTube iframe embed. Did you deactivate the FV Player Pro on your website?

Thanks for the link, but the question was about the size of the video player in your post. Could you activate FV Player there?

Hi Eduard,

Basically the video is being picked up from the FV player but the FV player is adding a black border to it as seen in this link

it happens anywhere the player uses MP4’s and isn’t a specific issue to posts.

The black bars at the top and the bottom are in the source video itself, our player can’t crop them out.
