When publishing a page in WP 4.6 with FV Player on page (only feature), Iget the following error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4194306 bytes) in /home/deluxe/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/models/checker.php on line 391

Hello Wolfgang,
we check the video length when saving the post and to do this we download 4 MB of the video file. I haven’t seen a problem with memory caused by this before. Your post should be saved properly though.
Do you have experience with editing of PHP files? Then you can try to decrease the ‘size’ => 4194304 variable in fv-wordpress-flowplayer/models/checker.php (it’s this number https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/blob/master/models/checker.php#L366 ) to 2000000 and see if that fixes the issue.

could you please remove FV Player and reinstall it from this ZIP file? https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/task-5774542-reworked.zip
It uses an alternative method of storing the file, so we would like to see if you still get the PHP memory warning.
To fully test this, please create a copy of the exact video which caused the issue before but under a different name and put it into FV Player on a new post.

I am so sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I am a one man show and do not have much time.
However, I have finally installed and tested the new version. I have not yet received any memory error. It seems to be working fine.
