Hi,
Another question I have is with the square symbols for the Play and Full-screen buttons.
I read that this has something to do with my CDN provider (I use Cloudflare). Something about clearing the cache — which looks difficult to do. Would you have any ideas for fixing this?

This was only a problem on my WordPress / Siteground staging copy of the site. Real version works perfect. Love the plugin — great job!

Same as with your previous ticket. Have you managed to solve those issues on your staging site? Icons should work fine. If yes, please describe us what steps have you done to solve these issues.

Yea it was the same issue.
In case it applies to other people, I use WordPress + Siteground on their GrowBig plan. For some reason, on their Staging platform, some plugins of mine (not just FV Player but also Elementor, etc) lose their icons.
Not knowing the technical side of things, I don’t know if this has to do with my cache, etc, but when I switch to my normal site, everything works perfectly.

FV Player saves it’s styles to a static file by default. Maybe your staging site uses some cache cleaner or optimization plugin that deletes these files. To prevent FV Player from using static file you can go to:
Settings -> FV Player Pro -> Integration/Compatibility -> Disable saving skin CSS to a static file turn this setting on and icons should appear again.

Those budget hosting built-in staging sites often show issues like you describe:

We have a Siteground VPS (among many others) and do some work on Siteground servers. The tech support at Siteground is pretty evasive and it’s hard slogging to get straight answers out of them (Siteground like many hosts outgrew its staff) as most of their tech support don’t really know what they are doing.
