if you want the video to be downloadable without the URL signature, then you should be setuping a new S3 bucket and new CloudFront distribution for it.
You probably have a problem with the “Restrict Viewer Access” or “Restrict Bucket Access ” as documented here: https://foliovision.com/player/video-hosting/serving-private-cloudfront
Also, if you setup a new S3 and new CloudFront instance and follow our guide step by step you are more likely to figure this out as well.
