    Hello,

    I have the following problem: when I insert a single video via fv player, this video shows up like it is in a playlist. This happend to videos we already uploaded in the past and to new ones. I don’t know why this is happening all of the sudden. I hope you can help me.

    Please, send us over the contents of Settings -> FV Player Pro -> Tools -> System Info.

    Hello Gerald,

    I think this issue must occur only on videos with the FV Player Pro Video Ads. Please try to select “No ad” in FV Player Editor in “Actions” tab as seen in step 6. in our FV Player Pro Video Ads guide: https://foliovision.com/player/ads/using-preroll-postroll-ads

    But I do not see why this would fail. Please send us a link to a test page where we can see the issue. This is a new issue so we would like to improve our code to ensure it doesn’t occur.

    Hello Martin,

    You were right, it’s the video ads. When the feature is activated in the global FV Player settings under “Video Ads”, I can see in the player code the playlist part and in the video the playlist controlls.

    As you suggested, if I set “No ad” in the actions tab, everything works fine. But this is not a solution, because we have hundreds of videos and can’t set this on every video by hand.

    So it seems like the problem here is the “Use site default” option.

    The affected website has very strong security measures. I have to check if I’m allowed to grant you access. In any case I would need you IP address to add it the our whitelist.
