Hi Michael,
I’m not sure how to test this. The video plays ok, but that’s because it’s running on HLS.js. You could check if the crossdomain.xml is in the output bucket of the encrypted HLS distribution and also if it has the correct content (should be same as in this guide), but I suppose it should be correct.
Could you send us a screenshot of the Video Checker report?
Thanks,
Eduard
Hi Eduard,
We haven’t moved the crossdomain.xml file in the bucket since you last configured it for us.
Attached is the screenshot of the Video Checker Report
Hi Michael,
I checked your AWS account (mapongamike) and I noticed that the test video is delivered through CloudFront distribution (d3or15sqojc92o.cloudfront.net) that was not among the distributions listed under that account. Is that from another account?
If I remember correctly, we set up the distributions for you under the mapongamike account.
Thanks,
Eduard
Hello Michael,
You were right, we were adding the CORS and crossdomain.xml to both your accounts. I’m not sure what failed or where, but I replaced the crossdomain.xml in afrolandtv account with a new file and set reading permissions to Everyone (as this is required) and the video on https://www.afrolandtv.com/issue-page/ now works – I tested it in Internet Explorer 11 which doesn’t support HLS.js and it played fine.
Thanks,
Eduard
