Youtube Quality Switching

I love how the plugin works with youtube. The only thing I see is that it would be nice to have a quality selection on toolbar for youtube to select quality. It does seem to work good though. There is a ipad bug that will not let you play videos fullscreen but that it isn’t just yours it’s in video.js also.

Hello smith234,

we are working on adding the Youtube quality switching. Currently the issue is that in Chrome you can’t switch to a lower quality after you switch to a higher one.

Could you please tell us more about the iPad bug? On https://foliovision.com/player/demos/youtube-embedding it works for me in iPad iOS 5.1.1, as well as iPad with iOS 7.0.3 and 7.1.

I’m also having iPad issues (iOS 8.1):

1) no play icon
2) slow video start, 3 dots flash for long time
3) full screen button and other controls are not visible

Working perfect and none of the above issues with iPhone (iOS 8.1), also on PC.

iPad playback is fine with a competitor plugin “JW Player”, none of the 3 issues above.

ps my videos are self hosted (not youtube)
