Social media buttons disappear too quickly

I really like the share of social media buttons but I feel like they need to stay up longer before disappearing in the top control bar. Is there a way that we can extend this time?

Hi Crystal,

What do you exactly mean by extending the time?
Social buttons show up simultaneously with the timeline and control bar when the user points his cursor on the video. Do you mean extending the time before the timeline with the control bar disappears?

Please try to more closely describe what do you mean.

Yes that’s what I mean. Extend the time before the timeline with the control bar disappears. It’s too quick and people may miss it. I tested on someone and he said he barely had enough time to click on it before it disappears. We use this player in an app so people view it on mobile devices rather than on a laptop.

Hello Juraj,

please check how our hover time compares to Vimeo and YouTube. I think YouTube only show the default HTML5 video tag though, so check some other player too.
