We need the video to open in the same tab, not attempt to open popups, which creates confusing error messages and looks extremely unprofessional. We have paid for the pro version, but this is not working.

Google Chrome – at the end of video I could see that my browser location bar said “Pop-up blocked”, but that message only appeared for a fraction of a second as the target URL has been opened in that same window automatically.
In Firefox there was a yellow stripe appearing for a fraction of a second and then the target website opened.
In Safari the target URL has been opened right away.
I see that we are slowing down the redirection (a bit) by trying to open the popup first (which the user would have to allow in some other place to open anyway) before redirecting to that URL.
I see that the message might be more visible if the target page takes longer to open.
So we will stop trying to open the popup window in the next FV Player version.

Yes. I think those are the error messages that I am seeing. If the customer does not block this action, then they will have multiple tabs opening throughout the course, which we don’t want to happen.
Is there any way to simply allow target=”_Self” so that it will NOT try to open in a new tab?
Hello Kim,
we adjusted the redirect function to not try to open new browser tab but instead open the link in the existing tab. FV Player 7.2.6.727 with the fix in it has been released.

Hi there, we did update to your last version (we are using also PRO version) and at the end of all videos we are redirected to “/undefined” endpoint (causing a 404 error).
