    Hello wazki,

full Vimeo integration is available for licensed users only. If you have a license, but you are not getting the Pro extension (FV Player Pro plugin), we will be happy to fix it for your.

Full Vimeo user guide for FV Flowplayer is posted here: http://foliovision.com/player/how-to-use-vimeo-pro

    Thanks,
    Martin

Hi, probably what i meant was that videos are not showing the usual flowplayer’s player, even for youtube.

The only way for it to appear is if i have my own video with .mp4 extension.

    Martin 11 years ago

    Hello wazki,

yes, the Youtube integration is only very basic right now. Vimeo integration is using FV Flowplayer interface, you have to own the FV Flowplayer license and a Vimeo Plus/Pro account to use it though. The Pro version offers a lot more.

    Video Lightbox
    Quality switching
    Vimeo Plus/Pro integration

    Advanced Youtube integration is coming.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Enjoy!

So what you’re saying is that I only can insert videos from youtube if I have a pro license???

    Martin 11 years ago

    Hello majorpakz,

you can insert the videos from YouTube even without the license, but then it’s just the basic embed code and not your own player with your own logo.

You need the pro license if you want advanced Vimeo and YouTube embedding, quality switching, CloudFront download protection, video lightbox and more.

    Thanks,
    Martin

I don’t seem to be able to embed youtube videos or vimeo… what’s the manualy code for it?

    Martin 11 years ago

    Hello majorpakz,

inserting YouTube videos with our plugin is the same as inserting any other video: https://foliovision.com/player/user-guide

If you want to enter it manually, you can just type in the shortcode like this:

    [fvplayer src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzPxo7Y6JyA"]

    Thanks,
    Martin

This does not work for me… I already tried it before and tried today as well and still not working. The video player only works for mp4 files and stuff, youtube and vimeo does not work :S

    Martin 11 years ago

    Hello majorpakz,

could you please paste in the exact shortcode which you are using? What other plugins are you using on your website?

    Thanks,
    Martin

    majorpakz 11 years ago

Hey Martin, I have installed a few ones, but I tried to deactivate my plugins one by one and check if any results were made, but nothing happens… the video player is still the original one from youtube.

The code I inserted was the exactly same one you gave me:
    [fvplayer src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzPxo7Y6JyA"]

Here’s the list of my plugins anyway:

    Advance Search Form
AJAX Hits Counter + Popular Posts Widget
Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeedProd
    Disqus Conditional Load
    FV WordPress Flowplayer
    Image Lazy Load (Unveil.js)
    Mash Menu
    Revolution Slider
    Sliding Widgets
    Tiny Google Analytics
    TrueMAG – Movie
    TrueMAG – Shortcodes
    TrueMAG Rating
    WP Fastest Cache
    WP Open Graph

I also changed the theme to see if the theme was causing this… but not

    Martin 11 years ago

    Hello majorpakz,

    thank you for the details.

The video player is supposed to be the original player from YouTube (that’s the basic embed code) – unless you have a FV Flowplayer license. Entering the license key will auto-install our Pro extension which then allows YouTube playback in the customized player.

    Thanks,
    Martin
