Hi Foliovision folks,

I was talking with someone in your Rocketchat before I bought FV Player Pro.

I was looking for a way to use HLS encryption and asking about your AWS setup.

They told me about Coconut and directed me to your support post on setting it up: https://foliovision.com/player/securing-your-video/encrypt-videos-directly-wordpress

They told me the update would be released next week (this is a month ago) and to email support and I could get a beta version right away, so I went ahead and bought FV Player Pro and emailed support but my emails bounced.

Now no one replies to me on RocketChat even though I message very regularly.

I don’t have any use for the stand alone player without Coconut support, it’s why I bought the plugin.

I don’t want to complain publically but I am having a hard time connecting with anyone from Foliovision to find out what is going on. Can someone at least loop me in? I’m very excited about the prospect of the coconut integration and have even applied to be an affiliate to help promote Foliovision if it works well. That request has also gone ignored (for many weeks).

Hello Dave,

FV Player Coconut will be a free addon for FV Player. Since you have the FV Player Pro license, you will be able to create the encrypted videos with it as well.

FV Player Coconut can be obtained here: https://foliovision.com/downloads/fv-player-coconut

It’s a free addon, so you can just log into your exiting foliovision.com account and get it. Note that you have to use the FV Player Pro plugin together with it to be able to get the video encryption features.
