Wasabi Hosting possible ?

Hi,

i would like to know if it’s possible to use Wasabi (S3) cloud storage for hosting video files with FV-Player, or is amazon S3 the only one possible ?

Hello Fabian,

Our player support numerous types of video hosting however if you would like to enjoy advanced features we strongly recommend to use S3.

However, we don’t have any experience with Wasabi yet and could be nice. Do you have any info whether Wasabi does offer CDN service or not?

Hi Juraj,

i know that Amazon S3 is quite good, but it’s expensive as well if you stream large data.
Wasabi doesn’t offer a cdn, but i will use Bunny cdn.

I read about all your different video hosting possibilities, but for me it’s still not clear if i can use ANY external link for FV-Player ? (Like a public link from Wasabi).

Hello Fabian,

We don’t have any experience with wasabi hosting but if it follow basic standards there shouldn’t be any significant issues.

Perhaps, if you could provide us a public wasabi link, we can test it for you.
