Hi there,
I’ve set the Default Volume to max (in settings FV) and also the volume controls of my hardware device are set to max, but still the volume output is moderate. Is there another way to set the video to a louder volume?

Hi Nanda,
If you are testing this on mobile, then you should know that the default volume setting doesn’t affect mobile device – that is because of the core device restrictions. The sound on mobile can be adjusted only by the hardware buttons, never by software settings.
If you are experiencing this on the desktop, then try to use the Incognito mode of your browser for testing. This is because the default sound settings work only until the user changes it. If you set the sound to the max, someone plays the video and turns the volume down a bit, then this setting will write into the browser settings and will be the new default on his browser, no matter the FV Player settings. This, of course, doesn’t affect anyone else, just the user’s browser.

Hi Nanda,
You also mentioned that you set the volume on mobile to the max. Is it possible that the low volume might just be encoded to the audio track of the source video? By that I mean, does it play so silent outside FV Player?
