Hiding the “this ad will end in…” message

Hi guys. Just installed the plugin.

Quick question – is it possible to alter/remove the

‘this ad will end in’ message?

Hello Kerry,

as a quick solution you can just add the following to your theme CSS:

.fv-cva-time { display: none }

I see that there could be some more settings for this, for example a text input where you type in “Please wait for % seconds…” or just leave it empty and nothing would appear.

That would be good.

I realise I might be using it outside of normal.

I am not really using it as adds – simply an update from the site at the front and the site ‘titles’ at the end.

Hi Kerry,

Martin and I discussed the messages for skip functionality.

We have to be very careful to keep it simple enough that publishers will understand the options. A single global setting might be okay in global preferences for the skip message.

For now, we’d recommend you stick with just making the message invisible. If more people ask for customisation of the ad skip message, we are prepared to revisit the issue.
