Fullscreen in iframe

[Solved]

What a great plugin! I am trying to show an iframe of my WordPress-generated player on another domain hosted on the same server, but the Fullscreen button in the upper right hand corner disappears when I show it using an iframe. Everything else, including the embed function, shows perfectly. Does anyone know how to show the fullscreen button when reproducing the player on the same server in an iFrame? Thank you very much in advance for any ideas.

    Hello William,

unfortunately this is not possible due to HTML5 restrictions.

Let us know what you are trying to achieve, perhaps we can give you some hint.

    Thanks,
    Martin

That is a shame, but thank you for responding so swiftly. I wanted to be able to use videos that were managed on WordPress using your plugin, which I find easy to use (I am a noob) and plays them well, on other domains. The iFrame technique seemed like it would be the easiest technique, since script does not always run well on the other domains.

Can you think of any way of doing this other than recreating Flowplayer independently on the other domains? (Using jquery? JSON? Or ajax?) Thanks again.

    Hello William,

which script is not working properly? Are you having issues with the embed code provided by our player?

There appears to be a script which allows HTML5 to work with fullscreen from within the iframe, so you can have a look at that too: http://brad.is/coding/BigScreen/

Please let us know if this is important for your work and you can do a donation of buy a pro support – then we can have further look into implementing the above solution.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hello William,

I just noticed this old unsolved thread – you can use the allowfullscreen attribute on your iframe tags these days and have the fullscreen working that way.

    Thanks,
    Martin
