Embed a Handful of FV Videos Without Enabling The Sitewide Embed Button

I wanted to embed a few videos on another website.

I activate the embed button on the videos to get the code. But once the embed button option is removed, the videos won’t play.

I get the message “Player not found; see the full article: “

How do I embed individual videos without enabling the sitewide embed button?

Would you like to be able to embed these videos while not allowing anybody else to do that?

Hi Martin

I’d like to embed them on another website, not owned by me. I would need to give the site owner the embed code of the videos.

At the same time, I don’t want the embed button option to be turned on sitewide on my own website.

Is there a way to do this?

Hello James,

We would recommend that you actually setup FV Player on the other website and post the video there.

You can hide the Embed button using CSS: https://foliovision.com/player/faq-intro/css-tips-and-fixes#hide-embed-button
