I’m sure this is answered somewhere, but….
On a single video I would like to put a “subscribe to my mailing list” internally served link (either coded into the video stream or added like a post-roll ad), that the user can click on to go to my mailing list (or some other url).
best way to accomplish it?

You could set an HTML pop-up at the end of your video, where you could add a subscribe button via JavaScript, or just add a link to wherever you want. You can find all about this feature in this guide – Setting Up HTML Pop-ups.

According to the article you referenced…. my fv player does nt have basics tab. I do see where the shortcode editor is, but for the record I can’t find a basics tab.
More importantly I do not have a checkbox for “end popups”.

I figured out the above. It’s not what the help file says, but it is there.
Rather than start a new thread, I will ask here.
If I want to put a shortcode in the end popup, is there a way. It would allow users a ton of options, such as
Use a basic button plugin
Link to an opt-in form (this is big for me).
Set tags for marketing, such as Active Campaign tag (another huge one for conversion).Thanks!

Thanks for pointing this out, our documentation on this topic was outdated, but it should be up to date now.
I’ll discuss the shortcode option with our programming department, but at this point you can use for instance jQuery for more complicated actions, or of course HTML with CSS styling.

Thanks for considering this.
Let me know if there is a way to do it. There are so many conversion and membership sales funnels that are shortcode based, that it would be really helpful for converting viewers into paying clients. Thanks.
