Overlay Ad Sizing Issues

[Solved]

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › How to … › Overlay Ad Sizing Issues

After the last update of the plugin the player no ads from Adsense were shown. This happens only in players posted after the upgrade. In old posts, there are presentations. How to fix?

    Hello Daniel,

Please let us know if you post the ad code into each player separately or if you use the global settings. That might explain why it works for the older players.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hello Martin,

    I am using global settings.

See, today I published a video here and ads are shown starting from the 5th second (728×105 banner at the bottom of the player:

    https://fxprosystems.com/pipfinite-trend-pro-indicator/#fp-with-add

And here is the player published on 10/20/2023 and there are no ads in it:

    https://fxprosystems.com/mighty-makers-ea-free-download/#fp-no-add

And then with earlier publications there are no problems – ads are shown.

The problem is only with the player on the page from 20.10.2023, but I did everything there as usual. Nevertheless, there are no ads. I do not understand what is the reason.

    Hello Daniel,

Your ad dimension is set to 728 pixels and the player in your second post is narrower than that.

Please set make these ad dimensions empty and the ads should then load for mobile too.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi.

I wrote above that I am using global settings. I don’t put the code separately in each video.

    Hello Daniel,

Yes, exactly, and the player in the second post is smaller – the 728 px ad does not fit into it.

So the global setting of 728px width and the height should be removed – then it the ad could show in that smaller player.

    Thanks,
    Martin
