Video does not play in some devices

    Hi,
    I am facing issues with the devices namely, ipad mini 2 and 3 (iOS 7 & 8) where videos does not seem to work. Video on all the other devices are working just fine.
    Can you suggest a solution to the same?

    Hey Juraj,
    Thanks for your interest.
    So I have tried on a couple of servers like hostgator, flywheel and siteground and found the same issue on all, but just with the above mentioned devices.

    Hi Web team,

    I’ve tested videos on your websites with both iPad Mini 2 – iOS 7 and Mini 3 – iOS 8 on Safari and the videos are working for me.

    Do you have problems with Safari or any other browser?

    ah okay, can you please check it in Chrome and Firefox as well?

    Also, I think I forgot to tell, that the video player switches to the default player when played on these devices. Not sure why.

    Hi Web team,

    It should work with any browser. The -switching to safari default player is probably caused by old iOS devices core restrictions which are forcing safari to use their own player to playback videos. I’ll forward it to our development team for discussion if there’s anything we can about it.

    I hope you understand we can’t guarantee 100% support without any flaws for 6 years old devices that even aren’t supported by Apple anymore. But for sure we will discuss our possibilities. Thanks for letting us know.

    Hello Webteam,

    you are using the settings to force fullscreen playback and force native fullscreen mode on mobile. Please disable these in Settings -> FV Player -> Mobile Settings as a troubleshooting step.
