the video doesn’t work

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Bug Reports › the video doesn’t work

  • geppo57 5 years, 1 month ago

good evening. I am trying to run the video from my wordpress site with your pul-in fv player. If the video is uploaded to the site hosting it works, from amazon cloudfront it works, but if you upload it from the NGIX server it does not work. Premise: it is an .mp4 file that works both on VLC loaded from the internet through the open media function on the network and from any browser page (chrome, firefox etc.). If I enter it directly on the site page without your reader it works. It doesn’t work only from your reader. We would like to purchase a pro license of € 200 including the plug-in to manage the ADS but for us it is essential that it also works with our video server. Waiting for reply thanks
    Preface not using rtmp server

    Hello geppo,

You’ve probably attached wrongs screenshot, I haven’t posted it publicly.

However, if I try to access the file even with my browser, it gives me 404 error. Perhaps the file is hidden under some folder or your server might be blocking access.

    Thanks,
    Juraj

CIao and thanks for the reply. That .mp4 files I solved was a non https domain problem. I still have the problem with the HLS file I get these errors: crossdomain.xml not found and CORS Header missing. even if trying for me and all right if you want to try this and the link https://www.vodmyxx.eu/analedivano_Ott_Hls_Ts_Avc_Aac_16x9_1280x720p_30Hz_3.5Mbps_qvbr.m3u8

    Hello geppo,

In this case the fix is quite easy.

Here’s our documentation on CORS and crossdomain.xml

With CORS you just need to add several headers into your server’s response, all is in the guide.

With crossdomain.xml it’s similar. You need to add an .xml file to your server’s root folder.

After that, everything should work fine.

Let us know if you run into any troubles!

    Thanks,
    Juraj

    Hi
The problem with the crossdomain.xml file has been solved in fact your plu-in report “Compatibility: crossdomain.xml found”
there remains a problem indicated by the reader “CORS header missing” and after we hope that it goes you have any idea why the classic setting in the reader does not work? That if I fix then I place you here to use all the solutions. Gciao and thanks for the assistance
