With the latest update, when the ad skip button should appear after 15 seconds it just shows —-1 and —–2 and ——3 and continues counting. The timer also doesn’t show the ‘skip’ text anymore it is just a countdown from 15. After it reaches 0 it just continues to count negative numbers and you cannot click on it. See attached screenshots.

I am on the latest version of MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 and Safari 13.0.4.
The issue also occurs in Chrome and Firefox.I am using the FV Player Pro beta7.4.11.727.beta with FV Player 7.4.9.727

Ok great – I will send this ad. Just to note that it’s not unique to this one ad though. We have 5-6 running and have been running the same ads for months now. The issue just recently started occurring for all ads.

I see the issue appears if the “Default ad skip time” is set to the same time as “Enter the number of seconds after which an ad can be skipped if longer than seconds.”
You are setting both to 15, so for a really quick workaround you can set it to 14 and 15 and we will work on the fix in the meantime.

Thanks Martin. I have tried setting them to 14 and 15 and swapping them. Have cleared cache each time. It is not fixing the issue for me.

it’s strange, but it appears the issue occurs if there are 2 digits. Please try to set the skip time to 9 seconds and leave the other one at 15.

Thanks for the quick response. I am still not having any luck. I’ve tried both values at 15 and 9, again clearing cache each time and checking it in incognito mode. It still does not allow to skip and shows the same —– and keeps counting.

FV Player Pro 7.4.12.727.beta is out and it fixes the issue.
Unless you are using any of the latest features it’s better to stick to the Release version. There is a “FV Player Pro: You are currently using the beta release which gives you the following beta improvements:” note in Settings -> FV Player Pro screen which gives you an idea about what the Beta is about, although I see it doesn’t mention these changes to video ad skip button, so I’ll fix that.
