Problem using mobile

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Bug Reports › Problem using mobile

Hello, Yesterday I updated to the latest version 7.5.0.727 and there is a problem.
It is not possible to upload video on mobile, the pop-up goes beyond the screen.
If you can give up this popup at all it would be great, it is not convenient to use. Much better if there will be a regular and convenient block.

    Hello Yairbr,

thank you for reaching out to us!

I can confirm that I was able to reproduce the issue. I will forward your report to our development team to fix the issue. Thank you for letting us know.

    Hello Yairbr,

it’s true that the FV Player editor is not responsive. So when you open it on mobile you have to scroll to the left and right to really use it. However it was like that ever since we first added it to the plugin. It’s not something that got broken in 7.5 version.

We are looking at doing a proper Gutenberg block.

Please let me know if I misunderstood your message and there is some other issue you are having.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi

    thanks for the answers.
Yesterday I updated and still the problem continues, scrolling the screen does not help nor rotating it.

I will try to describe the problem again, the screen of inserting the video appears, but it is not possible to see the button of the “insert”.

Maybe it’s happening because my site is in Hebrew and it’s RTL.

I had to revert back to the previous version (another problem: I reverted through “tools” in your plugin, but only the regular version is back and not the pro)

    Hello Yairbr,

I believe Martin might have misunderstood your message. I see that while not responsive, when using classic editor FV Player shortcode editor allows to scroll to sides and access the insert button, but in Gutenberg the shortcode editor popup is stuck and cannot be interacted with in any way.

I will once again notify our development team about this issue. The same goes for the downgrading issue. Thank you for notifying us about these issues.

In the meantime, if you need to add videos via mobile and wish to use Gutenberg, you can just add the videos in the FV Player database and then write the shortcodes into the post manually instead of using the shortcode editor via a Gutenberg block.

    Thanks,
    Maria

    Hello

When will this problem be addressed?
    It’s really, really annoying

    Hello Yairbr,

we are reworking the editor design, so that should fix it.

It would be great if you could attach a screenshot of the issue so that we can be sure we avoid that issue in the new design.

    Thanks,
    Martin

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m glad to hear you’re working on it, I’m attaching a screenshot so you can see the problem, note that the buttons are always outside the screen limits.

I would love if you could update here when a version comes out with a fix for it.

    Thanks
