Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_plugins() in /home1/HOME_DIR/public_html/MYWEBSITE.com/wp-content/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer-master/includes/fp-api-private.php on line 356

I am not able to login into the wordpress have to delete the fv player plugin from the backend directory. Have tried using the plugin from the wordpress website .

    Hello Kiran,

is your issue here different from what we discussed here? https://foliovision.com/support/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/bug-reports/unable-to-insert-video-in-a-page-or-post-in-wordpress

You mentioned that is started to work in that thread. You can get the fixed plugin by reinstalling from reinstall from https://wordpress.org/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer To do that you will have to first deactivate and delete the current FV Player plugin you are using. WordPress will warn you that you might loose settings and data, but it’s not the case with out plugin, no settings now videos will be lost. Or you can just replace the plugin files via FTP.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi Martin,

I am getting the same error Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_plugins() in /home1/INKINXX/public_html/INKINXX.com/wp-content/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/includes/fp-api-private.php on line 356

again. It works for couple of hours i guess and not sure when there is a checkforupdate or something like that in wordpress. Usually the next day when i try to login into wordpress I this exception comes from the fvplayer code.

I need to delete the plugin from the backend from the control panel of wordpress and only then i can login into wordpress.

I have used the wordpress site release that you had pointed to and this error is comming inspite of using that version.

But yes one thing i could notice that fvplayer has preserved all the settings and that is not deleted. That is the good part.

But the fvplayer is not working even after picking up the plugin from the wordpress site that you had pointed. It appears to work for a couple of hours and post trying to logging into wordpress the same error pops up not allowing to login into wordpress.

Please suggest a solution for the same.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hello Kiran,

I see there was a bug in the fix for your issue with “Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_plugins()”.

Could you please reinstall from https://wordpress.org/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer again?

    Thanks,
    Martin
