Add featured image automatically breaks when site via Sucuri waf

Hi Team,
my site currently via Sucuri cloud waf, and firewall is blocking port 80, and 443 unless the traffic is coming from Sucuri cloud waf IP.

since i enabled that services, I notice that add feature image automatically function breaks. all my videos are hosted in AWS, and I have video/splash image are all working fine, but somehow, it stopped convert splash image as feature image.

would you able to advise if anything particular i need to set? I know it was all working fine when site domain directly pointed to my host server IP (i am on an dedicated server).

Hello Andy,

could you please open your browser JavaScript console (here’s how: https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis ) and then repeat your action and see if you get some error?

There is supposed to be a admin-ajax.php XHR call which sets that featured image. Perhaps it fails due to the Sucuri firewall.
