2. Yes, of course. You can set several waterfalling VAST ads. Also, the ad tags can be set both as default, or individually for each video. You can learn more about how FV Player VAST works in our guide: https://foliovision.com/player/vast/how-to-use-vast
3. FV Player does support quality switching. You can learn more about it here: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/quality-switching
Streams are already encoded into several qualities, so there’s no need to set up the switching manually. All you’ll have to do is just enable the feature.Making the web work for you,

I run my M3u8 stream using Wowza. and want to use EzDRM or BuyDRM to secure it. Can you confirm does Foliovision support that?.

Thank you for your trust in our services. Please, follow this step-by-step guide:
Concerning your 1. question related to changning the skin, of course, you can do so. Go to settings -> FV Player -> Skin Tab -> enable Controlbar Fullscreen.
Secondly, no, you don’t have to buy three separate licences, since the licence is domain bound. Thus, 1 licence will cover all the platfroms for that domain.
In ragards to EzDRM or BuyDRM, we don’t have the integration yet, but it still it might work nevertheless.
Finally, HLS internally supports quality switching. You should have some genereal index link that can already serve all the resolutions automatically.

One more last question before I proceed for buying.
This is what I want to implement.
I want to show ads to all users who are registered ( using vast) ..
But if they buy a package I don’t want to show ads to them not even in the once’s that I had set a vast Url.
Can I use fv player does it have that functionality ?

we have worked on adding such ad rules for a project, but we don’t have such an addon plugin for FV Player yet. We plan to realse in as an addon, hopefully in near future.
However, If you have a PHP programmer working on your website it should be quite easy to write a custom function to disable these ads based on your exact needs. We can provide guidance how to start. You can use “fv_flowplayer_ad_html” filter and take inspiration from the “fv_flowplayer_popup_html” sample code.

Pavel’s answer needs a correction – you would have to set the “vast” argument using the fv_flowplayer_args_pre filter which is documented in https://foliovision.com/player/advanced/api-programming That’s where you could check the user membership level too.
We also had a request for a plugin like this before. What membership solution would you like to work with?

that plugin surely provides a PHP function to check the user membership status.
We could also create a plugin to let you disable ads based on the user membership level set with Paid Member Subscriptions.

I hope your site is coming along well.
We are building a simple checkbox: “Do not show ads to logged in users.” into FV VAST next week.
If you wish to restrict ads to some membership roles and not to others, that would be custom development, which we could do.

Hello Glenn,
please reinstall FV Player VAST from a new ZIP file which you download at https://foliovision.com/my-licenses That will add “Do not show ads to logged in users” in wp-admin -> Settings -> FV Player VAST.
To do that you will have to first deactivate and delete the current FV Player VAST plugin you are using. WordPress will warn you that you might loose settings and data, but it’s not the case with our plugin, no settings now videos will be lost. Or you can just replace the plugin files via FTP.
