ContainerElement is invalid

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player VAST › Bug Reports › ContainerElement is invalid

  • Andreas Herbster 7 years, 7 months ago

    Hi,

we ran into a problem with the vast player. The vast tag is playing on your test page but doesn’t work on our platform:

    Page:
    http://www.gamers.de/2017/10/10/neuer-trailer-zu-star-wars-8-die-letzten-jedi/

    Tag:
    http://ads.jinkads.com/vast/7383

    Error Msg:
    Sd {l: “The provided containerElement information: element is invalid.”, b: 1101, h: “adPlayError”, g: null}

    Thanks for your answer :)
    Best wishes
    Andy

    Hello Andreas,

I’m not sure about the error but I tested your tag in our own VAST tester and various other testing platform and I always got empty ad container response. You should probably contact your ad network about this and make sure, you have a container that has items in it and they are not restricted from your area.

    Thanks,
    Eduard

    Hi Eduard,

thanks for your answer. That’s strange, it worked yesterday in your tester. Could the VAST 4 Wrapper with a VAST 2 Target be the problem?

    Best wishes

    Hi Andreas,

We just tested VAST 4 just to be sure that everything works and there is no problem with it. You can test it with this sample tag from IAB in our tester (or any other tester):

    Thanks,
    Eduard
