Top Christmas commercials of 2018

Long before the snow even starts to cover the roofs of our houses and temperature drops to zero we are reminded to rejoice in upcoming Christmas time by commercials. Some find them too annoying, some think they create a certain holiday atmosphere. One way or another, there are commercials which are worth watching. Touching, funny, sweet, there are many of them, but no matter what genre, they all make us feel like celebrating Christmas whatever month it is right now.

IKEA

The main protagonist is a little Swedish girl trying to do tricks in front of her family. Her relatives are impressed by this sweet little magician as long as she's performing. The last trick precedes the magic done before.

Another commercial comes under Italian production and narrates a story of two strange men stuck in an elevator. With their purchase from Ikea they decorate the interior of the elevator. Ikea's commercials belong to the most creative ones of this year for sure.

BOOTS

Boots plays an emotional game in its newest short story. Daughter introduces her mother and the relationship between them. Their opinions vary but yet they might not be as different from each other as they seem.

APPLE

Beautiful animation grabs us into the world where coincidence can please many human hearts. Sharing your work might make someone happier than you'd think. This short film is also a metaphor for making your dreams true and following your ambitions.

LOVE IS A GIFT

Emotional and expressive. This commercial was made with the budget of only 50 pounds. Its focus is on gifts but rather on those money cannot buy. A man cannot wait to open his red box to play another record from his girlfriend who has passed away a couple years ago.

MANOR

A Swiss company Manor has chosen animation over acting this year and it was not a mistake. The main protagonist is Santa's elf who has been exposed by a little boy. This little boy draws a portrayal of him on his Christmas wishlist. In fear of being delivered as a gift, elf creates an imitation of him - a stuffed toy. However, already satisfied, as he sees how this boy treats the toy with love, elf replaces the toy with himself to stay with the boy.
